Heating Equipment
Heating Equipment
Laboratory heating equipment consists of several sub-categories
designed for various laboratory heating application. Each sub-category
features a specific type of product for heating. Multi-purpose block
heaters are ideal for incubation and activation of cultures, enzyme
reactions, blood urea nitrogen determinations, immunoassays,
melting/boiling points. Burners are common in laboratories that
produce a single open gas flame, which is used for heating and
sterilization. Drum heaters provide a practical, efficient means of
freeze protection, viscosity control and maintenance of materials at
elevated temperatures with in a drum. Environmental chambers create
temperature humidity extremes in chambers. Furnaces are designed for
laboratory and industrial applications such as moisture drying,
curing, aging and general testing. Heat guns can be used for shrinking
sleeves, soldering, de-soldering, paint stripping, plastic welding,
drying, curing and laminating. Heat sealers are machines used to seal
products, packaging, and other thermoplastic materials using heat.
Heating mantles used to apply heat to containers, as an alternative to
heating baths containers may be placed in direct contact with the
heating mantle without substantially increasing the risk of the
glassware shattering. For help with laboratory heating equipment,
