General-Purpose Student Microscope
All parts are "locked-on" to decrease loss and abuse!
Optics: Widefield 10x eyepiece with revolving pointer. Achromatic
4/10/40x color-coded objectives.
Mechanics:Frame is constructed of rugged cast aluminum with a gray,
chemically resistant enamel finish. Triple nosepiece is equipped with
a precision revolving objective turret. Oversized focusing knobs
furnish mid range adjustments. Built in slip-clutch system protects
focusing mechanism from "overturn." Rack stop eliminates damage to
slides and lenses. Head is inclined 45° and can rotate 360° for
viewing by multiple students. Stage measures 88 mm x 82 mm with
locked-on, spring activated clips.
Illumination: Choice of 115 V/15 W built in tungsten illuminator with
an on/off switch on top of the base or LED illuminator. Substage disc
diaphragm standard. Dust cover and a 5-year limited warranty are
included. Height of unit is 278 mm.
