Kinsa Unveils Sesame Street Smart Ear Thermometer

Kinsa has partnered with everyone’s friends at Sesame Street to release an Elmo-themed smartphone-connected thermometer. The ear thermometer is based on Kinsa’s popular flagship device, offering wireless connectivity and ability to track the progress of fevers.

In addition to looking like Elmo, the thermometer can send good spirits to a child via the app, saying things like “feel better soon” and “sorry you aren’t feeling well”.

The idea is to get kids acquainted with the device and feeling like it’s on their side and means no harm.

Elmo has only one button, requires no setup, and is easy to exchange tip and to clean.
