Thermo Scientific New Online Resources for GC/MS and LC/MS Users in
the Environmental Industry

The new GC/MS resource center redefines method development and
validation through matching consumables, software and documentation to
high performance Thermo Scientific GC/MS systems. There are several
environmental solutions available, each describing the components
needed to customize an instrument for the appropriate method including
all electronic files required to run the methods.

The LC/MS resource center is also an essential source of information
providing a gateway to tools and advice that can assist individuals
and companies in their environmental research. The new center enables
scientists to view and download an array of educational resources
including new application notes, scientific posters, case studies,
technical guides and webinars.
The GC/MS and LC/MS online resources, along with further information

On-site Screening of Environmental Contaminants

As environmental consciousness grows, requirements for identification
and remediation of environmental contamination in residential,
commercial and industrial settings are increasing globally. Soils,
sediments, painted surfaces, dust wipes, air filters and liquids, such
as paint and wastewater, can easily be contaminated so it is important
that accurate screening is carried out. The handheld Thermo Scientific
Niton XL3t 600 Series x-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzer is an on-site
alternative to traditional contamination screening. More...
Analysis of Toxic Elements in Drinking and Bottled Waters

China and India have seen a huge increase in the consumption of
bottled water leading to the contract analysis of toxic elements to
meet several stringent regulations. Manufacturers face the challenge
of meeting these regulations efficiently and cost effectively. This
