Service Tip for CT Engineers:

When changing a CT tube on a LightSpeed 7X VCT 32 or 64, it is very
important to note that patience is required when aligning the tube.
During the Z-alignment both gauges must be mounted for each axis. Due
to the sensitivity of the 64 slice detector, the alignment can take
time. Pay attention to make sure your gauges are zeroed out after an
adjustment has been made. The calibration instructions are set in the
software and have a very tight tolerance. It can be time consuming,
so be patient! Remember to call the ESGdm technical team if you have
